Totally Tartan

Blame it on the fact that Starbucks started serving their holiday cups yesterday but immediately I have the urge to buy lots and lots of tartan and plaid. The classic style is instantly reminiscent of winter and the holidays and has the runway appeal of Alexander McQueen. I am already having visions of an oversized tartan scarf, cozied by the fire with cider all winter long. In order to modernize the style a bit, look for fitted shorts paired with sweater tights, mens scarves worn draped over a basic long tee, or if you’re a bit more daring: a cape!

To keep the tartan spirt invest in a wallet, or cell phone case (like this Coach one) that you can use everyday!

I already want a cozy tartan blanket and big fire place, but I’ll settle for a skirt or scarf for now. Will you be wearing tartan this winter?!
