How to: Curl Your Hair with a Straightener

17 May

I’ve wanted to do a how to on curling your hair using a straightener for so long. Photos weren’t explanatory enough so I was super excited to find out my Nikon also took video and I could record a quick tutorial for you! I actually learned how to do this just through trial and error on my own a few years ago when I went on vacation and forgot my curling iron at home. I read things online and saw other people’s videos but it always burned my hair, crimped it, or created Shirley temple-esque ringlets. Since I figured out how to do it my way, I’ve been obsessed. It’s so easy but looks so glam. The best part is- it’s uber-fast! I have pretty long hair and I’d say I can be done with my entire head in 5-7 minutes. During the week day I go to bed with wet hair, let it dry overnight, and do this little trick in the morning and voila salon hair in under 10. Click below to see my way of getting loose, natural looking waves with a straightener!

I hope you liked my first video tutorial! If you want to see more let me know, comment below! xo

I’m a new blogger and have a quick question. Which program did you use to make your twitter/facebook symbols on the right hand side of your blog?

    Thanks.

Yeah, now that I have gotten the hang of it I think it’s easier than a curling iron. If you try it let me know how it turns out!

Congrats on starting your blog! I started out myself on wordpress, but a few months ago I hired a site developer to design my .com site, he was the one who graphically designed the images on my sidebar. Thank you for reading! xo
